The Flower Challenge #55 Pretty Pastels

I’m back, my beloved Dad passed away suddenly but peacefully at the start of February due to heart disease at the age of 81. Whilst it’s been difficult, I can’t fault the support and care he received enabling him to remain at home with Mum until a few hours before he died, following a short period of being unwell, or the support we received after his death from his GP and the hospital.

So, it’s good to get back into crafting with our new challenge for April, over at The Flower Challenge. This month we want to see your fantastic floral creations with pastel colours.

Our kind sponsor this month is  Varadasharma.com with a prize of a gift code of $10 for digital stamps in her shop.

They have also generously provided my teamies with some digital stamps to use. Please check out the shop as they have some amazing digi's there.

I used Tim Holtz Wildflower Stems #1 & #2 dies for my card and watercoloured them in soft pastel colours. I also used a Honey Doo crafts background die that I cut out of kraft card and then backed with kraft card to give a textured background. The sentiment is from a vellum sheet by Stamps Away that I backed with white card and added on foam tape. Simples!

It would be great if you could add our cue card above when entering our challenge.
Of course most of all....have fun!
