Tracy Scott Workshop

I was lucky enough recently to attend a workshop run by Tracy Scott, designer for PaperArtsy, up in Carnforth. We made this piece on 12x12 grey board, so it's slightly warped in the photo from heat drying some of the layers, but has since flattened out nicely in a box frame and has been stolen by my Mum!
Tracey prefers to use grey board as it allows the collage layers to bend into it more seamlessly than they would on canvas. We used a couple of layers of collage and multiple layers of paint and stamping to create this piece. I'm in love with PaperArtsy gold paint, used on and around the edges of the piece, it's a lovely cool gold and not brassy at all.
Apologies for how wonky the photos are, but they show the dimension and the last one shows the true vibrancy of the piece.
