Well, the sun obviously didn't get the memo that it was a bank holiday, as it's been beautiful weather today. Hubby has been messing about with his bees and after doing a few jobs I settled down to do some crafting and discovered my mojo had gone AWOL. Spent 2 hours on a DT card that ended up in the bin, oh well, I managed to rustle up a card that I wasn't embarrassed to post eventually!
Fortunately, today's card was one that I made earlier using some of those dancing hippos again. I teamed them up with the memory box curved happy birthday die and Sue Wilson's heart lattice embossing folder. A bit of silver mirri card and a few gems to finish.
Right, off to search for my mojo. So much for getting ahead with some card making hey!
Cara - it can't be true that an English BH is sunny. I am jealous of the BH, as I am at my desk working, whilst you are all playing ;) But Mexico on Sat, whoop whoop. I can't believe you are not coming to California too!! I love this card, I need those dancing hippos in my life, esp after all the Olympic Gymnastics I watched. That curved birthday die is pretty special too. Sorry for the lack of visiting last week, work overwhelmed me. Cx
ReplyDeleteJust adorable Cara, love the embossing.colors and dancing hippos.

I thought the sun didn't get the memo too up here but by tea time it was like any typical bank holiday, still as one old wifee told me in the local shop, "the gardens are needing it!"
ReplyDeleteLoving your hippos and that birthday die is cute too.
Hugs Erika. x
Hi Cara, glad to know you have cold and wet as your usual public holiday, that's what happens here! Hope you enjoy the sunny weather and have found your mojo. A truly lovely card love the dies and the hippo's such cute stamps... have a wonderful week... Megan
ReplyDeleteI thought there must be some mistake when it turned out to be such lovely weather for a bank holiday - I was up in Wigan looking after my elderly Mum for a few days and we managed to get her out in the wheelchair every day, which cheered her up a lot.
ReplyDeleteThis really doesn't look like a "lost mojo" card, it's really lovely, those little hippos are so cute!

I couldn't imagine how you'd lost your mojo when I spied this super cute card - as I read on you said you'd made it previously. I absolutely love this Cara. Those little hippos are super sweet and I love ll the texture. I've not seen that lovely hb die before either. Barbxx
ReplyDeleteAnother stunning card with these hippos, now I have to have them. How do you keep track of all your dies to know what to use. Beautiful and beautiful colours too.
