One of my not really a new year resolution, resolutions, was to blog more frequently, but the crafting mojo has gone AWOL and so I thought I'd share my new stash with you instead. Apologies for the rubbish photos, mostly due to the rubbish light and rubbish photographer! Hubby bought me the Bigz dies shown above as part of my Christmas present and he also bought me the dies shown in the following two pictures...
Okay, when I say he bought them for me, what actually happened was that Sizzix had a sale on and so I did some online shopping and then told Hubby that was what he was buying me! I did get good value though (well, I think so) as all the above, including the £6.94 delivery, came to a grand total of £41.87. Now, I'm not telling you this, but I've just had an email telling me that Sizzix have got some more sale offers on their website. I totally didn't tell you that and so cannot be held responsible for any spending that may take place.
As I mentioned yesterday I wandered into my favourite craft shop yesterday and they had lots of lovely yellow sale stickers dotted around the shop and a few big crates of goodies to rummage through. I was very restrained and put back a lot of the items that I originally picked up. I convinced myself that I probably have enough Christmas stash to last until 2098 and so focused on the more everyday stash. I think I definitely got some bargains and have smuggled them into the house and integrated them into my stash whilst Hubby is at work. Tee hee!
Well you certainly got some great bargains Cara, looking forward to seeing what you create with them,Kate x

Lol Cara, I did exactly the same thing & we purchased a few of the same dies so i'll be watching for inspiration! There were brilliant bargains indeed xx
ReplyDeleteI really am looking forward to seeing what you do with these Cara, as for the sneaking in stuff, don't we all do it lol! I used to do that with clothes, bags and shoes but these days it's stamps, dies and stencils. My hubby isn't able to work but I get up just before him most days so can sneak any small purchases into the craft room before he gets up.
ReplyDeleteI miss having a local craft shop are local chain. Because I can't get out much now I really I miss visiting them and picking up little bargains here and there Karen xx
