The Flower Challenge #32 Embossing Reminder

Halfway through the month and so it’s time for our reminder post for the current  challenge at The Flower Challenge and this month we want to see embossing, either dry or heat on your floral creations.
We also have a fantastic sponsor this month, Altenew, who are offering their stunning cross stitch flower stamp set as a prize.
I had some left over flowers using the Altenew Beautiful Day stamp set from making my original card for the challenge, so I decided to use them to make my reminder card. I started off by embossing a piece of vellum with a falling snow embossing folder (sorry, I can’t see who made it). I added a mat of purple card onto a 5x7 card base. I added a strip of the same card onto the vellum and glued it, the flowers and the leaves into place. I then added glue behind these to glue the vellum onto the card. As the vellum wasn’t playing nicely and was curling up, I added some dots of glue to secure it in place. To hide these dots added some of my left over nuvo drop dots. Simples!
Don’t forget to check out our challenge rules as we wouldn’t want you to miss out on the chance to win the fantastic stamp set we have been given by the very generous Altenew this month!
