The Flower Challenge #68 - Use a number

I’ve tried to resist saying it for a bit, but seriously, where is the time going?! I can’t believe it’s May already, there is a beautiful avenue of cherry trees near the end of my journey into work and it’s been a delight to see them come into beautiful pink blossom and then rain petals like confetti as they go over. With lockdowns etc I’ve missed seeing them in full bloom for a couple of years.

If flowers inspire you too, why not join us for our new challenge over at The Flower Challenge where this month we want you to add a number.

My card was inspired by the pink blossom and was my 18th birthday card for my niece (I definitely can’t believe how quickly those 18 years have flown!)

I used Heartfelt Creations Wild Rose and stamps and dies, Tim Holtz Shadow number dies, a stencil from Celebr8 and Bloomar Designs laser cut embellishments.

As ever, please remember to check our rules and we’d love if you could add our badge in your post. Don’t forget too to check out my amazing teamies and our fabulous guest designer’s work. Happy crafting!

  1. What a beautiful 18th card for your Niece and I love the layering effect with the stencilling, pretty flowers and laser cut leaves x. Yes I love to see the blossom too but they don't last long but so pretty when they are here x.

  2. Beautiful creation Cara, totally agree with you about time. It's like their are tricking us and time has sped up and it's being hidden from us. Love the pink flowers on Kraft. Hugs Aileen
