From Owl of Us

Monday has rolled around again, I have no idea where the time is going... As there was nothing on telly last night I decided to have a rummage in my "things not yet made into cards" box and try and use up a few bits. I found this tree of owls that I had coloured and die cut when I first got the Heartfelt Creations Sugar Hollow collection but which had not made it onto a card. I die cut a frame out craft card using Sumon Says Stamp stitched rectangles and mounted it on a 5x7 card. I found the sentiment stamp that came with the tree and holding my breath stamped it on the card. I then used foam tape cut into the most annoying tiny bits to stick on the back of the tree and then spent another 10 minutes cursing trying to get the back off the tape, before sticking the tree to the card. Maybe I'll leave the tree flat and raise the frame if I make this card again!

  7. Lovely card, what a great image.
Do you know that you can get really tiny sticky foam pads? Most of them are 5mm x 5mm but the tiny ones are 3mm x 3mm, which is just over a quarter of the size of the regular ones. I bought my in a craft shop - not sure where, but I've managed to find some online. It's so much easier getting the backing off than using tape you've cut up. They're perfect for when you want a really small sticky foam pad. 13. Wow Cara this card is fantastic. What a brilliant die and the colouring is fantastic. I cant believe you didnt show it off to the world before. Get stamping and cutting and use it more, I love it. Ahhh I am there with you with all those little itty bitty bits or cut up foam tape and trying to get the backing off and making sure they stay in place and don't peak out and then you go to take a photo and there is always a bit.....
But honestly totally worth it. Love love it.
