To thank you for all your support and to celebrate our first birthday we've been lucky enough to have some amazing sponsors and have not one, but nine amazing prizes up for grabs this month!
Our theme this month is
Use Your Favourite Flower
I'm not sure if this was an easy or hard challenge theme! I love lots of flowers, but in the end decided that one of my favourite things is when the spring blossom appears on the trees and so I went with that for my card. I have to confess that I'm sure I CASE'd this card from somewhere, but can't remember where - possibly a card by Faye Wynn-Jones.
I used the blossom from the Clearly Besotted Beautiful Friend set (this is the one that also has the fuschia in it) and stamped it on tuxedo black memento ink on alcohol pen friendly card before colouring it in with my trusty copics and fussy cutting it. On a 6x6 card blank I stamped the image around the edges in memento London Fog. I die cut the Lawn Fawn Scripty friends three times out of pink card and stacked them up to give more definition and the glued the sentiment and image to the card. Simples!
We can't wait to see your fantastic creations, please remember to check out our rules to make sure that your entry is eligible to win one of our nine wonderful prizes and of course, have fun!
This is gorgeous Cara, I went with a Clearly Besotted image for my GD card too - they do some amazing florals. I love the design - the grey stamping around the outside of the main image is just beautiful and that gorgeous pop of pink for the sentiment is perfect! Lisa
