House mouse and friends Monday challenge

It's a beautiful sunny spring day here, such a change after last week! Mum was going to visit today, but the M6 is closed so she had to abandon that plan. Shame, as I'd tidied up the kitchen table in anticipation of her arrival! Still, it gave me a chance to do some crafting this afternoon and create a card for the House mouse and friends Monday challenge which has a theme of anything goes or Easter.
As you can tell I went for the Easter option. I printed off the decoupage from Joanna Sheen's CD rom. There was an Easter sentiment with it, but I think I accidentally threw it out when cutting everything out! I used Sue Wilson's ivy die too give the impression that they were wandering off into the undergrowth - not to cover up my iffy cutting out of the flower stems obviously. The flower embellishments I've had forever, I think they came from Lakeland when they sold craft stuff. The replacement sentiment is a lili of the valley stamp.
Ava is doing amazingly, her Mum shared a picture of her sat up in bed with sparkling eyes and said it was the best Mother's Day present she could wish for!

What a beautiful card you've made. The decoupage looks perfect and that ivy die is so lush that I think I neeeeeed it! Right now. Hahaha.

A super Easter card, love the wee bunny and mouse, they look like they're on a mission!
On the upside if your kitchen is tidy and mum isn't visiting, more craft time! Every cloud as they say.

Enjoy the rest of your day, hugs Erika. x
