Hope you're all surviving this terrible weather we've been having, the wheelie bins took themselves off for a wander last night!
I thought I'd join the January Rudolph Day challenge and try and get a bit of a head start on this years Christmas cards. The image is from hero arts and I coloured him in with my trusty copics and added a little sparkle to the bells and holly with my copic spica pens. He comes with unadorned antlers and a selection of stamps you can use to decorate him. The first card blank that came to hand was a 6x6 Kraft card and I used my tattered lace rectangles to cut him out and layer him on gold card (I know it's amazing that they're not the pin dot rectangles for once!) I used some red liner tape to stick on the ribbon at which point I discovered I'd made a tent card, added a bow and job done! I was going to add a sentiment but discovered that the Christmas ones I have are on Kraft card (yay!) with silver foiling (boo!). I might be brave and stamp one on at some point. Maybe.
Hope you all have a great weekend x
He is absolutely gorgeous Cara. What a lovely face! I really like how you've put holly on his antlers. It's very cute and funny. BarbxxReplyDelete
what a very brilliant card for the Rudolf challenge.
He is so cute, and coloured wonderfully.
Great design card.
Still can't join your blog.
Lots of crafty love. Jenny L.
I've tried reinstalling the follow gadget, don't know if that will help. Thanks for wanting to follow me xDelete
What a brilliant Rudolph!ReplyDelete
This is such a fun and cute image. I like the antler decorations! I had such a chuckle when you said you realized that you had made a tent card...I do the same thing all the time. Every once in a while I totally put the image on a tent but upside down!ReplyDelete
Thanks for taking part in the January Rudolph Days Challenge.
Gorgeous card and image, brilliant colouring.ReplyDelete
I had no problem joining your blog, I have had a look around your blog and your cards are wonderful, love to see others who get card requests which can some times be difficult to work with, loved your lakes district/motorcycle card.
Your Rudolph is gorgeous, he looks great with the holly adorning his antlers. I have a special card sitting on my desk, regular rectangular card completely upside down to the spine of the card... will have to fix it soon...
Oooo that is one stunning set of antlers and so adorable too, thanks for joining us at Rudolph Days Challenge this month, Luv Sam DT xReplyDelete
Super card, I love the idea of being able to stamp the decorations separately, a sort of pick'n'mix reindeer! Thanks for joining in this month's Rudolph Days challengeReplyDelete
