Bunnies, whoops I mean veg are good for you!

Apologies for the really rubbish photo, it's been so dark and wet here today that getting a decent picture is nigh on impossible. Sadly it's still stupidly warm though.
These bunnies masquerading as vegetables are from the latest Clearly Besotted release. I didn't buy the matching die set this time (trying to be good on the craft spending) and so fussy cut them after colouring them in with my copics.
I wondered how to group them on a card and thought of a veg box. I die cut a brown rectangle and using my scoreboard and bone folder added some "planks" and used vintage photo distress ink to highlight them. I cut a strip of white card by had and wrote the veg box info on it. I made a frame from green card with the Simon says stamp stitched rectangles and arranged as shown using foam tape to mount the box and tucking some bits of green card behind it to give the impression of vegetables. I added the sentiment from the stamp set to finish.

  3. I let out an involuntary Awww.. when I saw this. The veggie box idea was inspired. I think that fussy cutting is more satisfying than using a die.

  6. The veg box idea is brilliant! And I love all your fussy cut images. I do think stamped images look better fussy cut, with no white border, and I find doing the cutting very relaxing. Being able to get matching does is great for people who don't enjoy it, or have dexterity problems, but I don't think it will ever be for me.
