I've finally managed to make a card for a challenge! Less is more want to see purple this week, now with my love of purple, how could I refuse!
I started off by playing with my new delicate aster dies and stamps and coloured them in shades of lilac and green with my copics. I added glitter to the centre as described in yesterday's post and allowing it to dry this time! I embossed the bottom of a 5x7 card base with a chevron embossing folder by diesire. The card needed something to balance it out so I stamped the sentiment from the Winnie and Walter, Big, bold you set and fussy cut it before adding to the card on foam tape.
Cara a beautiful purple LIS more, just perfect for the challenge.

This is beautiful Cara. I've had these Delicate Aster dies for quite a while now and I love them, even though it does take quite a while to stamp and cut them out. It doesn't mater whether you use just two, or five of them, they always look great when they're layered up. I tend to have a session where I make quite a few at a time, I then use them as required. Your Aster works so well here with the embossing folder. Have a lovely weekend. Sandra X
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely, the floral spray makes a great transition between the embossing and the plain card!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much
