Blimey, today has been eventful on the political front hasn't it! Whatever your feelings about the outcome I hope that we can all pull together to give the UK the best possible future rather than fight about the result. *gets off soapbox"
As it's Friday it's time to share one of our older crafty makes, blogged or unblogged over at the lovely Erika's. This was a leaving card I made for one of our locums at work a couple of years ago. The image was a Joanna Sheen House Mouse Decoupage sheet. The patterened cardstock is from Hunkydory and I die cut some of Joanna Sheen's ivy flourish to tuck behind some paper flowers from my stash. I'm trying to remember who the border punch is by, but brain is kaput!

Certainly has been a momentous day in the UK today! Got to bed at 5am this morning and the alarm went off at 7am! 😴
ReplyDeleteGreat card, Cara. The image is super cute! xx
Oh Cara, this is so lovely! How much would I give for this to be the real world, where itty bitty mice ride on dogs on their way to the local park perhaps! What a glorious world that would be! haha!! Beautiful card! hugs :)
ReplyDeleteHi Cara
ReplyDeleteYou have made cute look extremely elegant. Beautiful design.
Thanks for your comment chuck. I felt exactly the same when I was in hospital surrounded by ladies in their 70s and 80s looking at me like I was in the wrong place lol! At least I didn't need a bed bath lol!

ReplyDeleteHope you have a good weekend.
Hugs Erika. X
Beautiful card Cara, love this little puppy and mice. Never tried this style of card making, reckon I would loose half of it on the floor and Jake would eat it before I could get to it. Talking of Jake I have now found he loves beans, fresh green beans. Was making baked dinner last night and head and tailing the beans and here he is waiting patiently, give him one. Off he goes and eats it then back for another. He use to turn his nose up at them and only went for the cauliflower but now its beans as well.
ReplyDeleteCant imagine whats happening over there at the moment, apparently our dollar plummeted the first night on the announcement that UK is splitting but has now settled back to its same old low. Will be interesting to see what happens.
