Merry Christmas

This card is made with the final die set in the Create and Craft Couture Christmas collection for this year. Again, very simple, I die cut the main die out of matt silver card and die cut the seperate leaf dies out of matt gold card. I stuck the silver die cut on the 6" card blank and layered the gold over the silver leaf areas. A few gems and job done.
Another early night for me, despite going to bed at 8, I didn't fall asleep until 9.30 and was wide awake at 3am with thoughts racing in my head. I do wish brains came with an off switch at times, although some would say you'd be unable to tell the difference in my case! It's my day off tomorrow, so hopefully I'll manage a bit of a lie and can then catch up on the final of the sewing bee and last night's Corrie. I need to tidy up the kitchen table before I can do any more crafting, but I'm aiming to get a bit of colouring done tonight for the 30 day colouring challenge. Have a great evening x

  1. I love the two tone metallic look. And I hope you get a better noght's sleep tonight, I can't offer an answer as I'm a rubbish sleeper myself and often get up at 4am

  10. I am loving your Christmas cards Cara. You could try Bach's Rescue Night to ward off unwelcome thoughts in the night? It does help me. Not the ordinary Rescue Remedy, Bach's Resue NIGHT. Its a bit pricey, but I find it worth it. Judy x

  14. Hey Cara, with all the 4th of July festivities I haven't swung by for a few days and then I see this beauty, absolutely stunning! Love the CAS simplicity of it. Hubby and I recently gave up smoking and have been making our own herbal teas to help us sleep soundly. We have found a mix of things work, current fave is Skullcap, Peppermint, Catnip and Valerian - only half a teaspoon of each, you can find a lot of info on line about this, its super easy to do and really works.
