The code word over at Addicted to clean and simple this week is Plaid I never knew had some much plaid/tartan paper lurking in my stash. I eventually settled on this one from DCWV Spring mat stack which I must have had for at least 10 years now. With a 5x5 card blank as a starting point, I cut a piece of orangey card from Lidl with a spellbinders border to frame it. The dog is from Katzelkraft, coloured with copics, fussy cut and with glossy accents on his eyes and black enamel accents on his nose. I added him to the card with some 1mm deep foam rape. I die cut the thought bubbles from a set by Docrafts and added a bit of faux stitching to define them. I decided that the sentiment from Tim Holtz's Crazy Talk would suit him and masked it when stamping so that it was on two lines. Once again the dodgy photographer is back, it is straight at the bottom and there isn't a paler stripe down the plaid in real life. I'll blame the weather for bad lighting conditions affecting it!
