I know, two posts in one day, get me!
I was thrilled to discover that I'd been successful at two 52 card throwdown challenges and so thought I'd enter the Sketch challenge over at 52 Christmas card throwdown this week as I'm loving creating some Christmas cards ahead of the mad rush at the moment.
I used a stamp set from Hobby Art and of course used my copics to colour and my Sarn sparkly gold pen for the flourishes and his beak, although it doesn't show up so well in the photo. I added polar white flower soft to his hat and used papers from lili of the valley to complete the sketch on a 6 inch square kraft card base. I added a sentiment from craftwork cards to finish off.
Digressing again - in case you're confused about the bunnies, Bramble my almost 9 nethie was the one with the squeak who had X-rays, blood tests and a dental done earlier this year. She still has her squeak, but it's nothing to worry about as all nasties have been ruled out. Parsley has now developed teeth problems, which are common in rabbits, we don't know how old he is as he was handed into a rescue as a stray. I will say he's a lot harder to give eye drops too than Bramble. She will just sit still on the worktop, whereas Parsley is a lot more of a wrigglebum! Gratuitous bunny photo - Parsley is on the left, Bramble on the right.

Both lovely photos Cara, wish I had a pet rabbit.. I use to breed Dutch rabbits a very long time ago and my first rabbit was a Chinchilla rescue buck rabbit called Jessy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for yesterday.

ReplyDeleteOh your bunnies are so cute, are they miniatures or a dwarf breed?
ReplyDeleteLove your Christmas card, the robin is so cute and who doesn't love a plaid or tartan background?
Happy crafting.

Cute bunnies. And a lovely Christmas card Cara!
ReplyDeleteLove your Christmas card, cute bird and colouring is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteCant believe how much they look alike with their little propellor ears. So cute, our cutest rabbit was a lop eared dwarf named Loopy (my son picked the name) and he was more like a human than a rabbit. Would stretch out on his back as you held him and just lay there waiting to be rubbed and was so good when visiting the vet unlike midnight who would fight tong and nail when we walked into the vets. Sadly both are gone now and after all the heartache of both having terrible illnesses it was decided that we couldn't go through it again. So we just admire from afar.
Oh this is just super! Love the chubby robin and the super plaid background paper. Thanks so much for playing along with 52CCT this week. Deborah, DT.
ReplyDeleteAwwwww! Your bunnies are sooooooo sweet Cara!
