Wow, it's Friday already and the sun is still out! Bet it goes in next week though as I have a week off. Saw my GP yesterday and he's increased my morphine, so I've arranged to take the week off so I can change dosage and see how I react to it and make sure I'm going to be safe to drive still.
So, as it's Friday it's time to join Erika to share an old crafty make. When I posted my card for the retro rubber challenge earlier this week I mentioned that I had a picture of the original card I made.
I'm afraid this was the one and only time this stamp had seen ink until this week, must use it more as I do love it.
The card was made for my student who was finishing her placement with me in June 2014. I used lili of the valley papers (no change there then) and the flowers were made out of heartfelt creations Sweet Juliet dies and secured with brads. Not sure which dies I used for the frames other than that they are likely to be Spellbinders and the little butterflies are All Occasion dies.

Right, housework calls, sob. See you tomorrow x
I looked at the housework and thought s*d it I'm working tomorrow so it can wait. With my lot it would only look tidy for about an hour anyway, pointless!
ReplyDeleteThanks for joining me sharing an oldie today Cara, your little lady looks very comfortable there with her glass (of wine (ever hopeful!)) sunbathing on the lily pad. It sounds like the perfect way to spend the day but I'd need a much larger and stronger lily pad. :D
A lovely bright and sunny card Cara, thanks for sharing.
Hope you manage to get your medication sorted.
Hugs Erika. x
Just laughing at your comment on my blog about sending politicians instead of all these creative talented folk. I'm with you, sounds like a brilliant idea, I think we could even put a 3 for 2 offer on that way safe the country enough money for the NHS and schools.
ReplyDeleteHugs Erika. x
Good morning, Cara. What an adorable image. I love the added texture of turning the petals of those flowers downward. Very retro! Hope the meds change gives you an extra boost. Hugs and Blessings! Kel
